Petrol Smell Coming From Engine Bay

I have a 2008/08 MINI One R56 (bought in 2010) and on our return from Alton Towers today, I noticed a strong fuel smell coming from the engine bay. After pulling over and popping the bonnet it smelt really strong of Petrol.


Is the car safe to drive??? :puzzled:
