I'm new here and was hoping someone could help me with a problem I have recently discovered on my Mini. I have never had a problem with it before but the other day I noticed a foul smell ( like cats pee!!) in the rear of the car.
I noticed the rear passenger carpet was wet and then lifted out the bottom section of the rear seats only to find there was a huge puddle of water in the seat well. I looked at the side of the car where the fabric meets the top of the bodywork panel and found in the roof fabric there is a Plastic moulded O ring which has split. Both sides have this problem.
Firstly how has this happened and secondly Can this be replaced/repaired without the need for a new top ?
