Hey all,
I have a mini cooper D (59 plate) bought 12 months ago and had no problems but recently the wife used it to go to/fro work in slough and after a month or so the DPF warning light turned on..
Now, the route she takes (w5 -> SL2 )is about 45mins in total, 10-15mins in traffic at the start, 15mins or so on the M4 doing 60-70mph and then another 15-20mins in traffic.. I would have thought the initial trafic would have warmed up the DPF and then the run would start to burn it off..
alas not..
My work route is W5->RG1 (Reading) so thats about 20-30mins on the M4
So question is..
Is there anyway of monitoring the DPF so that I can get a bit of warning when it needs regenerating? ie take it out for longer spin??
