Removing engine cover on Cooper SD

I am looking to fit a TMC box on my Cooper SD and will need to remove the plastic cover on top of the engine to gain access to the relevant sensor connections. I have had a quick look but can't spot any obvious fixings and wonder if anyone has removed there cover and knows how to do this.
