Morning Guys
Ok have come across a problem with a couple of gauges that are fitted below the A/C on the console enclosing the gearstick
The left one is a voltmeter, the right is an oil temp gauge
BOTH were working before my DIY now there both not
The Ciggy Lighter was not working, so I brought an aftermarket one, and fitted it at the weekend
I had to splice in the NEGATIVE wire of the light bulb holder, which I tested before hard wiring it making sure it only lit when the lights were put on
Now the lighting in the gauges themselves is working fine, but the gauges dont work at all
I have checked the rear and there are three female plugs on the Oil Temp and two female on the voltmeter, and they are all fully pushed on, so do you think I might have simply blown a fuse?
Cant be anything too serious I wouldnt have thought, I have only changed the ciggy lighter, but I dont want to start messing about and making it worse if it can get any worse!!
Anyone have any ideas, or which fuse I need to check?
Please :)
Cheers guys!!
Chris
