This is my first post and my first MINI. 2005 MCS which has the multifunction steering wheel. I can control volume and skip/search with the OEM deck. Phone controls/Bluetooth does nothing, probably because the option was not installed from the factory.
If I upgrade the OEM cd player with an aftermarket deck with all of the bells and whistles, I understand that there is a module that will allow volume control and skip/search with the steering wheel like it is with the stock deck.
Will I also have the ability now to use the phone/Bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel with an aftermarket deck if the deck has those features?
