I had clutch and gearbox re-done last summer - they hadn't gone yet but it wouldn't have been long so I bit the bullet and took them to a reputable gearbox firm and they identified a lot of wear to the gearbox as well as the clutch and both were worked on.
I noticed today when I was driving to work that I'm getting the same amount of play as I would get in neutral, in all of the gears. The gearstick is so loose it's unbelievable.
Is this a sign of the impending demise of my gearbox, clutch, or both? Anyone got any ideas? I'm still selecting gears fine there's no problem there but the amount of play is just ridiculous.
