ADVICE:repair exhaust or get JCW?!

Hello!

I did search the forum for the answer but didn't get any decent answers :(

So, my R50 One's exhaust has died on me! The baffles? (Not sure if this is right) are gone so it vibrates and rattles like a b****! It sounds awful!
I love my current exhaust to bits, it came with the car and i think it's custom so can't even go back to see if it's warranty covered.

So, my thoughts were;

--- Get the baffles (???) removed or repacked by an exhaust place; been quoted £65ish for this.

--- Buy a standard cooper exhaust then get an exhaust tip for it? Maybe try and get a JCW one secondhand from somewhere?

--- OR buy a cooper s exhaust and change the bumper trim? I already have the Cooper S bonnet with the scoop and badged up as Cooper S, lol :p

--- Buy one of these Scorpion exhausts? The cheapy ones... but I think they may sound nasty :(


Do the JCW exhaust tips make it sound any better or just complete the look?

Anyone changed a one/cooper to a cooper S exhaust?

Anyone heard or tried the scorpion exhaust? Is it okay or way too loud? I don't want anything OTT :)
