What fuel/octane do you use?

Hi all,

Well ive been reading through some threads on this forum to see what fuel people recommend for the cooper r56. Currently i use tesco 99 octane momentum

I have found lots realting to the first gen cooper and the cooper s, however not many people seem to talk about the r56 standard cooper.

From my understanding the first gen cooper has a different compression ratio (correct me if im wrong) which ment it benefited from the higher octane fuels.

However does the octane make much of a difference for the second gen standard cooper eg using 95, or 99 octane????
