Hi all,
bought a second hand Bluefin this week but it had been reset by Superchips so was all good to go. Connected it to the missus' mini one and it downloaded the original map then uploaded the Bluefin map, worked a treat. Have to say it is defo worth doing. Definitely smoother lower down and just keeps pulling from 4k. Before when you got to about 76mph it was a bit resistant and noisey, now it is like it has been unshackled and it is perfectly happy cruising at that speed and keeps pulling past that.
After i did that I connected the Bluefin to the computer and initially it wouldn't connect to the Superchips server but after downloading the lastest software it worked fine. It connected and sent them the original map. So, was sorted, thought I had done all that I needed to do.
My only query is, a day or so later i got an email from them saying my new map was ready to download and fit to the car. I connected the bluefin to the pc with the software and it came up with messages saying it was downloading and then said ready to connect to the car. I'm a bit confused as I've already put the Bluefin map onto the mini, it was already on the Bluefin out of the box so was "method B" in the manual.
Have I now recieved an updated Bluefin map that I should install or do I not need to do anything? I'm reluctant to connect it to the car again now.
I was planning on giving Superchips a ring on monday to confirm but thought someone on here might be able to shed some light?!
cheers peeps.

p.s. also fitted a K&N panel filter this week and that has made the throttle response better.
