Put my car into BMW for replacement front and rear discs and pads.
Got the car back yesterday evening and chuffed :).
BMW (as I'm sure you all know) do a car "Health check" every time you stick the car in with them for repairs. Everything was green except oil (which admittedly hasn't been topped up for at least a year - terrible, I know).
So they marked "oil" as red and topped it up accordingly (it was almost empty).
What was interesting though, next "Leaks", then marked it as "amber" and noted "Engine oil leak" next to it.
How worried should I be about this? Do you think they've just assumed there's a leak as my oil was so low?
Can't really see how else they would conclude that, given that determining a leak would surely require significant investigation? And also why they've marked it as just "amber" and not "red"?
