Gearbox advice.....

Hi everybody,

As you can see I'm incredibly new to this. :/

I've recently been looking into buying a mini and have been informed of the gearbox issue that sometimes affects earlier mini's, unfortunately my budget lands me right where I think they started changing to the Getrag boxes.

I was wondering whether anyone would know how to tell the difference between the getrag and midlands gearbox :confused:

Would be very grateful for any help :)
