Just got in my 2006 Mini cooper (had a recon gearbox replacement 8 months ago) and whatever gear I put it in I can then move the stick full side to side and almost move it in circles. It just seems to be completely floppy.
Also when I put it where reverse should be it goes forward!
Dont want to drive it to make things worse but its a Sunday so no garages open.
Any idea whats gone wrong, no problems with it at all driving home yesterday.
