Im nw to driving a manual. Is the catch point where the car begins to move or near the end where the clutch seems to vibrate (maybe 5 studders in 1 second before it is fully engaged). If I hold the clutch lower, the car will eventually catch, but I takes longer. If I have it higher where the whole car vibrates, it catches in 1-2 seconds. The vibration is more pronounced in reverse straight cut gears. The whine studders. Thanks.
